Pros
One of my favourite gaming headset brands. Thumbs up. Although it is little bit expensive, but compare to its quality, i think it is worth to invest in this headset.
Communications with friends and teammates is seamless. The microphone produces good quality sound and doesn't pick too much background noise. While playing a game with group chat it's best to use software like dolby audio.
The sound quality is fine. Perfect for story focussed games as well as multiplayer competitive games. It has a good balance of bass without being too overpowering.
Cons
Tried that splitter and still doesn't work. Unfortunately out of the refund/return period. No spares are available, not that the product is user serviceable in any way.
Too tight and uncomfortable after an hour of using. The cable is quite short and feels flimsy (very thin cable and cheap-feeling plug) the sound quality is very'muddy' with poor definition between different sounds. These are flimsy as *.

You can hear peoples voice clearly and it doesnt crack

The mic is fantastic though not perfect it doesnt pick up the surrounding noises and it catches your voice clearly

I absent mindedly tried to put it on single handed and snap crackle pop the plastic holder at the end of the rh slider disintegrated leaving the earpiece flapping around like a drunk seagull

One of the units broke after a few weeks however one call to amazon and it was replaced within 24hrs

Things of note the ear cups are a little small and the clamping force is high
