Pros
Easy to fit onto your shoe. They stay where i tighten them to. If the elastic start to give, just tighten them up using the adjuster.
These lock laces really make shoe lace tieing a thing of the past. Perfect for anyone who dislikes having to tie shoe laces. The lace has plenty of length which you can trim down to your needs.
Cons
It's very hard to press the button with one hand and thighten the laces with other. Save yourself the money and headache, avoid lock laces. Maybe would be fine for walking shoes but not hiking.
These are garbage. Horrible quality. Very disapointed. Such a deceitful business practice.

I have a pair of asics gel nimbus 23 shoes that have a more complicated lacing pattern and as a result the normal laces are much longer and these elastic laces are not long enough to accommodate this pair of shoes not enough left over for the endclip to attach and they are too tight

I removed a star because the locking mechanism and plastic thing for the lace ends do not exactly match each other

They may be a bit more expensive than other laces on amazon but you get what you pay for
