We havent actually used them all but the one with the umbrella stayed upright with an almost full beer even when we turned the bubbles on

One thing to keep in mind we did not receive all of the pictured floats

The first time you are using it does have a strong plastic smell but it will goes away with any of the plastic inflatable things like swim balloons
