In my opinion the reviewers whom experienced issues either did not have experience installing bar tape or did not follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions

One of the main points from the manufacturer is do not stretch the tape as you would traditional bar tape

Also make sure that the adhesive strip is applied to the drop bars

You should hear a crackle like noise while undergoing this step that’s simply the tape adhesive bonding to the bars
