What he didnt say is that pulling the backing off the adhesive would be trickier doing it that way because theres no lead in the tape

I wound up pulling a part of the backing and adhesive its like double sided tape off and spent a lot of time trying to separate it after that

The thickness of the handle definitely affected it i guess

The 2nd bat was a 27 and the handle was so thin that it was very difficult putting the tape completely on the bat
