I pulled off the old trashed grip firs then followed the instructions and got it on the first try

I wrapped twice at the end with electrical tape as advised then put the finishing piece of tape over the electrical tape

Good substantial grip have not had any issues with it pulling away from bat i would go to youtube for instructions to apply
