The knobs themselves are a low quality foam and definitely but as good as the nice sleek rubber knobs on the black max
If you’re happy with the black max handles being bright red just keep it
Heads up these will not fit the older abus with the straightflat star drag though

Ok so i give 5 stars cause i think the price is great for what you get
Packaging/appearance
Was easy to install and put our pole back in working order
I like the length it’s 334 inches from center to center on the knobs
Competitiveness
Overall it’s a great handle for the price
This was less than 12 the cost of a name brand replacement

Note it will not fit reels that came with flatstraight handles unless you find a curved drag star that fits also ie shimano

Tried messaging company willing to buy replacement parts it been several day not a response at all

Even though it came with an adapter to fit the 7mm drive shafts neither of the included nuts would work

Also there was no way to make anything shimano which needs the 7mm adapter work since the included nuts didnt fit causing the retainer to not be useable

I bought this because the black max has too much red for my crankbait rod

In order to dial it down to match a black and silver rod i had to change the handle

The edges haven’t been sanded down so it is a bit scrapey
