This isnt a problem if you wish to connect it to the included diverter but if you want to connect it to a standard shut off or some other source mine comes from a 2 gal

The tapered end of the hose which is the one intended to attach to the spray head tends to bottom out before the washer engages therefore it will leak if you dont adapt in some way

I chose the latter solution but im never entirely comfortable putting two washers in a connection to get it to seal
