The version i picked up says it should be more than adequate to fit a standard ipad

That said the jaws angle in a bit towards each other

Something inside the sliding mechanism snapped while sliding the jaws aparts

That said if you use the end mounting option and try to put the ipad at length to the side it will slowly spin downward the magnet unable to hold it at that angle
