Pros & Cons
Pros
The right size for a pound of ground beef or medium sized portion of pasta. Perfect for small grain rice and quinoa and it's perfect for my needs. Could also be used as a veggie steamer under the lid of a pot.
Cons
Mesh strainer is too fine for baking. It is only spot-welded in two tiny areas. No sturdiness what so ever. Would like to contact seller.
Highlights
Quality
It seems sturdy and is just about the right size for 1 or 2 person cooking
Wonderful sturdy easy to clean great size for a household of two
The weld that held the handle to the strainer broke
Used to strain coffee grounds from french press pitcher so the fluid goes down the sink and saved grounds may be dumped into the garbage

The tight mesh tends to keep water on the strainer

The mesh is just a tad thin so you will be aware that too much pressure on it can bend it in either direction

But with care the strainer will work as designed
