Pros
Alarm goes off, she opens the little door and takes her medication. I strongly encourage anyone to buy this for a loved one that has a problem taking their medication properly.
The unit is sturdy and locks securely. Easy to set up initially and set times to dispense meds. Occasionally sticking inside, they are effortlessly removed with your finger.
Cons

This model has problems that cannot be overlooked. Way too many hurdles to overcome. Has not alleviated any pill problems.
Also, your finger is too large to scoop out the meds. This is dangerous. And then wouldn't dispense the medication.
Frosted lid lock is on a diagonal making lock difficult to use. The dosing circles easily moves around, and the hold in place tabs block the pill pockets.

This timeconsuming costly issue caused us a great deal of problems

He can get to his own meds on time and i don’t chance he will take too much
It did not come with instruction manual so it took a while to find the instructions for the model i received
