Quality

I like that you can change the height of the base to grow with the kid.
Before i purchased this i would use to have to hold her in one arm and do everything else with the other.
She’s at the age where she just wants to be involved and engaged with the rest of the family.

Packaging/appearance
It's small enough and light enough to scoot out of the way in our small kitchen.
It is compact enough to be stored out of the way when not in use.
Screwing two together as food does get stuck in the cracks.
Competitiveness
Our 20-month old loves working next to me in the kitchen.
Our 18-month old could easily navigate getting in and out without issue.
It has a weight limit of 200lbs (haven’t tested that out but i have stood on it and i’m about 140).

The wood is very smooth, and the corners have been smoothed so there are no sharp points.

My only complaint is that the paint is chipping everywhere and given that the use is pretty light (no shoes, for example), it seems weird that would happen.

It was difficult to build, and some pieces did not come pre-drilled.

It’s also pretty bulky and heavy and not easy to maneuver.

One negative: our learning tower didn’t come with non-slip stickers for some reason.

The open sides too are also slip hazards.
