Pros

Little giant pumps are very durable. Expedited delivery and intstalled the unit and all is good. Saved me $$$ from calling in an hvac group to diagnose, order the part, and install.

Cons

If it needs to be nudged every day that's hopeless! Never again, little giant. Never again.

It appears the pump has an issue with the flotation element that is supposed to activate a micro-switch turning on the pump. The friction of plastic shaft attached to the float protruding through the top housing evidently is borderline. Reservoir fill... Read More

Both units use the same micro-switch. Over time this arcing destroys the contacts. No safety circuity, status leds or sensor input tabs.

Less than a month out of warrantee. It has to be shipped back and inspected and approved for warranty. And this only has a 30 day warranty!

Industry greed (maximizing shareholder return) creates such a race to the bottom for quality.

Then i bought this pump unit for a fraction of what a new dehumidifier would have cost

Funny enough amazon shows a 6 check valve as a commonly purchased product for people who buy this pump

It shipped fast and was easy to install and works great highly recommend this pump

Just got it delivered and sent back with fedex driver 01212024 1240 pm

Would have been nice if it shipped with 38 hose only because i did not have one on hand
