It doesn't need refilled all the time. Just had to be careful not to tighten the lid too tight so the ring does not become crushed. Once the lid is replaced, the waterer reaches perfect pressure.

It is more painful and frustrating. It is time consuming, inefficient, and *. You have to pin it down on the ground with your knees, which makes using the bar very awkward. Noticed the top was already cracked.

Bought to use for our 4 backyard chickens in the coop; very light use. Within two days the water is disgusting because the chickens perch on the top, * down the sides and into their water. The red base becomes slimy and moldy in just a couple days.

Easy to fill from the top durable handle for carrying is a plus

Second the nipplecup method seems better at first but things clog them and cause them to crack or leak over time

The trough part was too wide and they splashed the water everywhere

It came in a box with no packing and a single piece of flimsy packing tape that didn’t hold the box closed

The only complaint i had was the packaging
