Pros

This container is great for a small flock of birds. It's easy to fill, not easy to spill, and holds plenty of water for thirsty hens. We use it by setting it on a stump inside our coop for nighttime water.

It's sturdy if you pick it up from the bottom tray. It is sturdy, and easy to unscrew to clean. The red base is sturdy also.

Replaces an identical one - the old one lasted over 10 years. They work great while the last though, and they're affordable. Would buy again.

Cons

This is a great waterer but it's way over priced. This costs almost twice as much as one at tractor supply that holds 5 quarts, locks on easier and has a handle.

Top refilling waterer does not screw into base securely. Manufacturing defect leads to air leaks which makes the product worthless.

Useless to return it. The so called warranty is useless. Never again. Awkward to use.

Ive tried half a dozen waterers for our chickens and found this one the simplest to use

My other waterer lavendar base not this brand is a terrible design and i have a terrible time hooking it together
