But the manufacturer has addressed a workaround which is a factory reset done by pressing the brightness and color temp buttons at the same time while the light is off

You will need 2 of them for key light coverage as it doesnt have enough power for that alone

I used one for a hair light on a shoot just recently at 40 this light ran for the entire shoot for 2 hours with battery still left
