Pros
Thermomix operates with just as much power as it did on the 220 current in france. Cooks and can pulverize big chunks of ginger and blocks of frozen fruit. Bought this to use with a european refrigerator.

Cons
Once it melts down you have a 30 pound paperweight. Realistically, this is essentially false advertising as this item shouldn't even be sold without such cautions.
If you don't have something like 32a main outside breaker and 25a breakers inside house, this isn't for you. When i switch it on, without any load, my house breaker already trips.

This unit drew 5 watts idle the other brand 18w
Full load voltage output dropped to 225 and efficiency was 91 which was much better than the other brand 82
But since the power cord is removable i simply replaced it with a similar cord in uk

Ive had it for 7 years but recently the coffee maker starter shutting off unexpectedly

Took the cover off started chasing circuits long story short the input voltage selector switch started to develop some internal resistance

When i tried to move the switch it was hard to move and when it finally moved i was unable to move it back with just a fingernail

Used a screwdriver to get a better bite on it and it moved back

Cycled it a couple times and it now moves back and forth with an acceptable level of resistance pun intended

I also noticed that the power indicator led got brighter after freeing up the switch so if the led is dim you might check the switch

I havent measured efficiency but i do check it periodically for heat and while it gets a little warm its not concerning for me
