This is the first time i installed one in our home. The garage is in the back of my house after my backyard. Coverage up to 3,000 sq. Mbps all over the house.
The app and instructions are very intuitive. It uses the same app and follows the same setup procedure. There is some customization, but if you're coming from something like unifi, you might find it limited.

Each router has four directional antennae running the inside height of the device. If you name your wifi exactly the same as your primary router, it is important to put it on a different channel.
Before it took about 15 minutes to download something 100 mb, now it downloads on the order of seconds. My phone which is a pixel 3a which used to get wireless download figures in the low 500s in my 2 gbps system.
Cons

Both ports are 1gbps so if your internet provider supports speeds that higher than that you should probably look elsewhere

Although you could join an mx6201 unit to an existing wifi 6 mesh network as a child node you would lose all wifi 6e functionality

You want the new mx6201 to become your main router or parent node and have your existing wifi 6 or 5 units joining your ssid

There is a specific way to make this integration possible firstly if you have any custom configurations on your existing parent node write it down because this node will have to be reset to factory defaults

Before you start you will need to download the linksys app free for your phone or tablet

Note if all you are trying to achieve is a basic mesh network this will be configured easily out of the box using the app only

If you have child nodes to add important if your child units were from an existing configuration make sure that you factory reset them first make sure you add them very close to the parent node before you move them to their final location usually within 30m100ft of the parent node
