My cat peed on the bed and it went straight thru to the mattress. We are not meant to be breathing in polyurethane. It is not breathable, so we get super sweaty when it’s on our mattress.
It's not waterproof. It is permeable, feels just like a regular cloth, definitely lets bugs through. After washing it once it loses it's waterproofness.

I was about to return it until i thought even if it is one whole piece maybe i can stuff the two box springs into it and zip it up

Not too saggy but i ended up putting an elastic bed skirt to wrap around the outside of the encasement and to tuck in the loose fabric

The box spring sits on the floor and slides a little with much effort

We were also told from the store that it would be more expensive to buy them through them but that amazon had them more cost effective which is important for a nonprofit
