Pros
With these improvements, this product is much more pleasant to use. It’s so satisfying. Lineco is a great company, has wonderful customer service.
This tape has the perfect amount of adhesion - secure to the page but still easy to work with and reposition before really pressing it into place.
Cons
The company that makes this needs to get their act together. The dispense action of this product is pathetic. It is basically invisible on white backgrounds. That's not acceptable for archival tape when you're mending a page or book cover.

The tissue tape works really well and the weight is just right for repairs to my vintage sewing patterns
This tape is nearly invisible and it is sturdy and i feel like it has given new life to my book
The words show through well and the lack of acid means the repair should last for years without discoloration
This tape so light weight and just kind of becomes part of the paper as it fills in with the rip or tear
Price
Fixing the tear is much cheaper than replacing the book
Packaging/appearance
Ive also taped some of the backer paper to the box so that its easier to unstick when pulling the tape off for another piece
Believe there needs to be some sort of dispenser besides the box

Its not 34invisible34 but its better and stronger than tape

Its nearly invisible when applied to white paper but its semivisible when placed over colorful graphics

I will note that it was not as thin as i expected it does not really disappear on the page the way the finest quality washi paper might

Dislikes dispensing the tape from the carton was something of a headache but might not be that for someone else

The tape is not sheer at all so not ideal if you need to place it over printing

The package is a bit smaller than i was expecting but i work at a library and all the tapes we use there are on a larger scale i suppose
