Ph 7 naturalthe pend detect ph 6 as not acidity it is point on its sensitivity as ph6 is a bit acid

The tip did turn purple after a couple uses but it hasnt changed the way the pen works or detects acid

The pen does not have color output explanations printed so make sure you keep small leaflet thats included in the package for later reference
