I found for my television i had to connect the dvd player video connector yellow to the adapter cable white connector no worries

I downgraded it to 4 stars because of the connector swap that may not be fair as they may have built it to a spec for a particular piece of equipment for which it would work

Note when i first connected everything i got a black screen with noise coming out on the television speakers that is what happens if you feed a video signal into the audio input

If this happens to you just start swapping your video source with the connectors on the adapter cable until you get video to your television

Then just connect the audio cables until left and right sound come out on the proper sides i did not care which was the proper left or right as my television is small
