The only down side to it is it didnt really fit my camera adapter shoe it didnt tighten enough to hold it steady

If i do that it fits but its still kind of janky as its not the intended way it is to be used

From the picture it looks like this will grip whatever you stick in it but in reality the locking mechanism of the device being inserted into the bracket is essential to hold it in place

The cost of the plastic ones are less than 4 and the metal one here is just a bit more but providing positive protection against 500 speedlights falling off and getting broken
