If used near laptops this will work however for taller desktop monitors the arm will be in the way of your vision

Unfortunately this one missed the ac adapter when it arrived so i returned it and kept the other two

Only flaw in the design is it does not remember an onoff state so you cannot use it with a remote or switched outlet you must turn it on every time from the lamp base itself
