Would suggest to remove the protective plastic off the mounting plate before installing on the ceiling it would be much easier to remove the plastic that way it will leave some fingers mark on the chrome plate but they could be wiped off

Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that you cant change the bulbs to higher wattage
