These pens with tips lighted are a game changer. I regularly use the original one that did not light up. Light isn't as bright as i’d like it to be, but fine for the money.

Pen is a thin ball point, but beggars can't be choosers when you are staking out your neighbor's activity at night. It's also comfortable to hold and inexpensive. Handy to keep in pocket.

Light works great, lasts a long time and comes with spare batteries. The pens are great but one of them didn't work. Other than that, it's great.

The pens are very useful when they work. Technically it works. However it writes horribly. Threw them both away.
