Pros
Enter the lifetime 73650 44 shatterproof backboard. Cut it off old backboard and drilled some new holes. The new unit is at least as good in quality and it has'shatter proof' on the backboard. Best with a scaffolding and 2 people.
Bought this for my 11 years old grandson. It sits in full sun in the summer and gets rain/snow in the winter. Highly recommend this product for replacement purposes.
Cons
This backboard feels flimsy. Shatterproof is questionable. Very misleading and very bad business.
A thin plastic or acrylic backboard with a hollow plastic frame. Did not include mounting bracket. No metal support holes on the thin plastic backboard, so it will fail quickly.

This is a nice inexpensive goal and backboard
It works as it should and was reasonably priced
For what it is an inexpensive smaller backboard it gets the job down

Also had to bust out the angle grinder to cut a piece of the old rim off to get to one of the bolts that needed another socket on it to get the grip the loosen the bolt

Attaching this new backboard was easy but the instructions that come with it do not tell you what the odd looking screws are for

They are in fact the ones that go through the 34y34 wings of the original mounting bracket and into the blown plastic frame
