My only three drawbacks are 1 i can really fit ice cubes in the bottle with the lifestraw 2 it doesn’t hold a lot of water especially for a rigorous hike and 3 it takes some force to actually suck the water up through the straw which may not seem like a big deal but when you’re hiking up a mountain you don’t want to waste your energy on that  Read Less
