The straps are velcro and only work in that one direction

This means that storing it in the same position every day makes it want to roll up on the ends when you are trying to use it

I had to turn it over for the first use to get it to stay on the floor at the ends

Then i had to roll it the opposite way and not use the attached bands to secure it for storage to train it not have the tendency to roll back up

I have had other mats that use elastic looped bands and i prefer them
