Pros & Cons
Pros
It has a high visability and has made that long staircase much safer to use. The backing is about half as thick as the previous anti-skid tape it replaced. It stands out so everyone can see there is a stair there now.
Easy on & formed around bends easily. Pre-measured, centered, and a piece of cake.
Easy to install just make sure your surface is cleaned and ready to install. Durability is yet to be determined because i just installed it.
Product adheres well to a painted floor surface. Adhesive is quite strong and the sandpaper-like surface is great. And the grit is coarse meaning a good nonslip surface.
The reflective bright yellow color shows very well at night. It fixes my night blindness and black steps without lighting issue.
Cons
Not made for any high traffic areas. Does not stick on wood very well.
Highlights
Quality
No more problem with the slick edge
After installing it we were so impressed with its quality that within two minutes of using the last of the tape i ordered four more rolls
Price
I ended up taking a chance on this tape as i liked the sizewidth of the tape and the price was a good value for the size of the roll
Competitiveness
This was a better solution than purchasing a larger antislip mat
The backing is about half as thick as the previous antiskid tape it replaced but it worked as expected
We had a 1inch raised step of concrete at our back gate that caused tripping
