Cover provides protection from bumps but dont drop it this is our second one as the first one fell out of the car and broke

I also wanted large size wide mouth and simple lid for easy cleaning thick glass for a bit of insulation and durability and a silicone cover instead of the silikote because though i like the idea i keep seeing reviews of it flaking off
