After buying this unit i enrolled in a flex spending acct at work and discovered some hearing aid coverage from my work benefits obviously cant use these perks on amazon i did a physical comparison of this item i am reviewing with the costco signature hearing device in an actual audiologist booth where i was deciphering a recorded target voice speaking with an everincreasing drone of background voices

This unit at the highfrequency setting best clarity of the 4 settings imo picks up more background noise and all of the amplified sound has higher treble than my good ear and slightly more then the costco unit

I only need improvement for one ear and i cant justify having two left ear devices
