Pros

Built a toy box for granddaughter. Closes nice and soft. Won't slam down on the granddaughter. Hardware comes with a hex wrench to make adjustments now and in the future as the hinge wears. Smooth and easily adjustable.

Cons

Lid soft closes to about 45 degrees and then slams shut. After that the lid closes as if nothing is holding it up. Construction is flimsy and even after adjusting the tension it is no better.

No installation instructions, just dimensioned drawings. Instructions are horrible to navigate. Directions are microscopic and useless.
