It has a weird function which may just be a setting in my phone if the screen cover portion of the case makes any kind of contact with my screen my screen will go to sleep

It has a way of letting phone know you closed the cover so it turns the screen off which is great

A plastic rotary cutter like a dremel plastic cut off wheel might work better

The part the phone snaps into is soft rubberized plastic that is very cushioning and holds the phone very tightly and protects all edges of the phone from damage2

This is a cool case looks great but the storage isnt all that good

The case is wonderfully minus 2 features you cannot use the 2nd screen due to the hard plastic cover in the quick view window and the case doesnt close very well theres not latching features or magnetic strap to keep it closed
