This drive is super convenient! It works just as expected. Works perfectly fine in canada. Always loved lg products.
Great $35 alternative to the $95 apple-branded drive. Disc loading in the slide-out tray is slightly finicky.
New lg is really quieter but also a bit flimsier, build wise. Nice sleek design. Seems to be built well.
Loaded 3 different programs from cds and worked flawlessly. Uses usb 2 and not 3 but to load program files that's all i need. windows 10.
Cons
There is a disc that comes in the bix, but it doesn’t install anything. Supposed to be plug & play. All i want to do is play a * dvd on my laptop.
Very flaky, light plastic. I am just glad i didn't get suckered into buying it from another source that would say you opened it so you can't return it. Returning a product is never fun.
