Pros
The screen size and curve really does helps helps immerse you into the game. Hz refresh coupled with 1ms response time makes for an ultra competitive rig.
Recently upgraded from a 24inch 165hz tn panel and a 24 inch ips panel. Vibrance of the colors, the possible brightness of the panel, and the awesome ultrawide aspect ratio made it a worthwhile purchase for me.
Freesync 2 works flawlessly with nvidia gpu now that they've finally allowed it. Works like a charm with a nvidia 1080. Firmware update is a must, you need to connect usb hub and then install the lg onscreen controls.
Cons
I am very disappointed with the quality of this product and the short warranty is a slap in the face for an $800 monitor. It's the monitor only have a 1 year warranty (if the monitor had broken just 10 days later i would have been *) and the horrible ... Read More

Its also funny that the price has risen over the past 3 years from 550 to 680
This is not the best but it is a great option at a pretty reasonable price unless you are really wanting a true hdr experience

In most cases when you enable freesync and the monitor goes to sleep it forgets its resolution and refresh rate

It will either come up in the lowest supported resolution or it will come up black

All you have to do is turn off freesync on the monitor then turn it back on and all is well but it is super annoying

I tried turning off sleep in the os and on the monitor it doesnt work the monitor still sleeps and still breaks in the way nearly every time it wakes
