Pros & Cons
Pros
It fits snugly in my cherokee's 2 receiver.
Even though the fit is snug, it's not difficult to insert or remove. Works to reduce tho. It works great, just a tad tricky to install.
Cons
Way too much sway and rattle. Impossible to install.
Highlights
Quality
Exceptional value for such a quality product
Perfect adapter for my suv using this product
Excellent quality product you can switch it depending on which pin hole you want to use so that it is flush with the receiver
Coating on the adapter began coming off the first use but that does not affect the usability of the product
Competitiveness
But that didn’t cause a problem with transporting my single 35lb trail bike

I would have given it 5 stars but the anti rattle feature falls short

It stops the rattle between the hitch and the sleeve but not between the sleeve and the bike rack

I lost the 1 14” to 2” adapter that came with the yakima double down bike rack i bought 10 years ago so when i bought a vehicle with a 2” hitch receiver i needed an adapter that would work

This one does the job as long as you have the original yakima pin to thread thru the holes the bolt that comes with this adapter is too thick to go thru the bike rack
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
With the yakima pin snugly inserted the bike rack is rock solid with absolutely no wiggle

But that didn’t cause a problem with transporting my single 35lb trail bike

As you slide it into the adapter and the adapter slides into the receiver its hard to get the bolt holes of all 3 aligned unless youve got a helper who can slip the bolt through the adapters bolt hole when its aligned and then through the racks bolt hole when its aligned
