Pros

Laser printers have many advantages over inkjet, the primary of those being print quality and speed. While toner costs more than it would for an inkjet it is in line with other brands and is readily available.

It connects to the major cloud platforms and will easily upload and download with them. Once set up, it works great, even after unplugging, it reconnects automatically.

It pairs well with bluetooth, wifi, and my phone for easy printing.

It is fairly heavy and somewhat noisy but otherwise efficient and economical. It's a little bulky, but then again i'm not planning on moving it anywhere now that it's set up. I'm always on the lookout for the next great tool to make my home office lif... Read More

Run the lexmark app on your smartphone, connect to the printer, and then set up the printer with your home wifi network. We live in a 3-level townhouse, with the printer on the top floor and the primary modem in the lower floor.

Cons

The tray isn't the best solution in the printer industry. Unless you are a computer tech guru, this printer is not easy to set up. All it came with were several pages of pictures showing you how to remove all the tape and packing material.

Lexmark’s app is as useless as that setup app, bare bones, and outdated. They need to either switch to a thumb drive or just tell you where to go to download manuals and let you know to do it online.

Instructions are ridiculous. Not even momentarily. Apparently, it's too hard for me to fathom. Highly advise staying away from this.

It's when you get to needing to type on the keypad that things start going south. The screen does not show you what you pressed! First issue is the password.

Is a great value for the money

Finding 3rd party manufacturers at a much lower cost is not east neither for the lexmark

Price is a bit high for this printer but being its new maybe in a few months it will drop

This was easy to setup for the most part after taking all the shipping tape off the printer

The printer and the shipping were both great

Competitiveness

A full refill of all toner costs 2x the original price of the printer

The price i paid made the decision to jump to laser a nobrainer
