For me the best sound quality i recommend to use stereo 14 cable or balanced xlr
Using a taylor110ce acoustic and it works great with garageband i have not yet installed the software that came with the lexicon alpha
At first i had no interface and the quality was horrible
Competitiveness
Even with buying a power pack it will still be cheaper then buying a presonus or focusrite
You just need to obtain a usb to miniusb adapter purchase a couple small pieces of software and boom youre good to go
