The story is so weak, confusing and silly that it was nearly impossible to keep up enough interest to get through the 300+ pages. There are two timelines and it can get confusing. The ending is absolutely horrendous.

    A petpeeve is overlyflowery descriptive writing that distracts from the story pacing maxs writing in this novel is descriptive in a way that is not cliche and gives the reader a very clear image but without spending paragraphs doing so
