The air cleaner gets it down to 3-5 at it’s peak. It also handles stinky kitchen odors like broccoli & fish. When we replace the hay in his hutch, the purifier kicks up a notch and pulls all the dust from the hay and cleans quickly.

Customer service is quick and easy if you have a question or issue. Walked me through troubleshooting. Expertly handles all of them. No need to dowload apps to control the system.

Cons

The barrel filter begins to spew out toxins with an offensive odor. Toxins spew out that smell like carbon dioxide. There is zero help with cooking odor or dust or pet hair. The chinese need to reexamine the design and do more testing.

Levoit's position seems to be just spend $200 every two years as the unit fails. Save your money and buy something else. The best one i've found is the lv-pur131 true hepa or the smart version with wifi capability.

The noise appears to be dust/dirt/grime stuck on and in the fan motor. The same dirt is settling back down and gumming up the motor.

It began to develop a squealinggrinding noise that got progressively louder over time

The fact that this seems to be an ongoing issue for this particular model and it’s pretty expensive is the reason i’m giving it 4 stars

I would recommend you get 1 for every level of your home and trust me for 300 or now i see 250 with rebate don’t think twice

Keep in mind you will pay 35 for a replacement filter

Was hoping that with 200 dollar i could get 5 years out of it

Within 24 hrs the house was fresh smelling

Luckily it was still under warranty and levoit sent me a replacement

So far within the year i’ve only had to change the filter half as much as my other filter brand

The levoit has the level now in single digits getting as low as 5 at the peak
