Pros

The letters have a general prompt, and have plenty of writing room. Being able to write letters to your child/mom/dad/grandchild is something really cool. I was asked to my nephews first birthday party and to write a letter to the future boy.

The hard cover book with detachable letters looks great, and is very functional. Great sentimental book series. Although it gets tricky to write in it towards the middle, i love the book.

Cons

I was bummed to see that the first page (envelope) was completed crinkled and ruined. It defeats the purpose of giving a lasting thoughtful gift if it's cheaply made.
