Pros & Cons

Pros

The story just flows so effortlessly. The characters are very well developed and believable. Love all of his characters, twists and turns of the stories, but mostly his talent.

Winter's main character is jessie black, a prosecutor in the district attorney's office. Jessie is in the thick of it, both as a prosecutor and a kidnap victim! If was good to have the nolans back in the story as wel, as jessie and leary.

The lawyers are all law abiding. There are surprises, diversions, keeps you guessing as a good * mystery should do.

Cons

Author needs to take a * course in how to include readers into the book. I was totally lost almost from the beginning. I had to finally throw in the towel.
