The remote itself works and i can cycle through all of the modes however the camera does not respond to it
It takes a little playing around to see how everything works but it works very well once you understand it
One side note is that it doesnt turn off unless you take the batteries 2x aaa out but on the plus side it supposedly has a stand by time of 30 years yes 30 years so i wouldnt worry
