    After initial installation following all directions very carefully have used a similar system on another travel zoom in the past found out that when the camera retracts the lens barrel there is just a small amount of pressure against the filter mount from the camera body when the filter was in place tending to pop it off

    Could avoid the issue by removing filter each time before retraction but then you loose the protection of the camera lens from dust and debris and inconvenience of reattaching filter each time
