I put this on my 102mm refractor on the lowest setting and while everything else dewed up dripping wet the telescope objective remained clear

The length of the heater was just right for going around the refractors objective but it will not fit on anything bigger

I bought this item to use on my camera lenses on those cool and or humid nights to keep my lens from fogging over
