Firstly lets look at the price. When I bought it, I paid 299 quid which, is a steal for such a well made and fairly light transportable laptop. And I know full well that the spec is not going to set the world alight which is fine. I'm not playing games or doing high end graphics design. This modest laptop was bought to let me use Office applications, surf, write a bit of nonsense now and again and be light enough to carry and big enough to be able to see. I also use TurboCad and Adobe Lightroom on this without any noticeable lag. I'm not designing a rocket or creating a masterpiece but I suspect as much as most would ever do.It fulfils all of these duties perfectly. Yes, it does not have a Core i7 processor - and I don't notice the difference. Yes, it isn't quite as super slim as a 1000 quid high end ultrabook. But its not bad to be honest. You are not going to rupture your spleen carrying it and the styling combined with the design makes the most of the available price, looking neat and slim.Build quality is good to high. Not quite up there with the best but close enough. The keyboard is well set out, large enough for my hands and the keys have a nice tactile feel and are good to use with a positive click.Track pad works well and for those who like them perfectly acceptable in use. I loathe them with a passion and prefer a mouse.USB ports are of course minimal but you get one USB2 and one USB3 port. Fair enough and you can always add a hub. To be honest I've found that I don't need too with the fact that everything is heading towards the electronic cloud.One HDMI port which I use to plug into a monitor or TV once in a while. Smooth and I watch Netflix and Prime without any issues.The screen is sharp and has a very small bezel outline making this good to use and look at.128GB SSD which does not sound like much - and it isn't - but with the advent of cloud based storage not really an issue at all. And the massive plus of an SSD is the speed the computer runs at and of course the lack of noise.Overall a great value machine that defies the modest price point.   Read Less
