Pros & Cons
Pros
For anyone used to a regular adding machine style calculator layout, this is the best one i've seen. This numeric keypad isn't heavy, but lenovo weighted it just enough that it doesn't slide around while using it. While some are more stylish and less ... Read More
This thing is awesome! The price is right too. Not much to say here.
Lenovo keypad works without drivers for me in win xp. Works on linux/unix without problems. In wmware fusion, the numlock is recognized by windows. It says it is for ibm thinkpad but it works fine with my older dell laptop with xp.
It was made in 1984. Smoothly and easily. It is solidly built, the numbers depress and return like a dream.
Otherwise, this works perfectly. It just works great! Works well. Works as expected. Worked as expected!
Cons
Sorely missing is a dedicated backspace key. The keys depress nice, but the case is very poorly made.
Highlights
Quality
The quality is first rate and it has an excellent feel for working
Wish the keys were a little quieter but otherwise it is a good product
This keypad enters keystrokes with the slightest amount of pressure
Update 92712 i removed the wooden block which i had attached to create an incline with the intention of no longer using the keypad
Price
The price tag always put me off
Surprisingly the price has come down substantially after 8 years of use of the older keypad
Ibm got this right and it is well worth the price
Competitiveness
I use it on a dell inspiron and dont have any issues
Not the most modern looking styling but has a good key feel and a good price
