The alarm is made of soft rubber and seem durable, it won't be easily break by kids knocking it down to a floor. This is a perfect little alarm clock that teens and even some adults will like, too!
Times are customizable as required. The adjustable colorful night light with 5 different colors and 3 levels of brightness makes it easy for them to fall asleep.

It has a built-in rechargeable battery that will last for days. Comes with a usb cable and wall charger/plug. Chargeable battery is great, much better than using individual batteries.
Easy to set up and intuitive to use. Instructions booklet is quite detailed and makes operation of the clock easy. Lighting is spectacular. Not the prettiest but hey, everything is not perfect.
Cons
If you are not a family that wakes at 6 this is no good. If you are. Not afamily that wakes up at 6, this is.

It will take some learning curve to train some muscle memory to be able to operate the buttons without looking something that might not worth investing the time in unless you plan to use this alarm clock for a long time

It has a builtin rechargeable battery that will last for days which also doubles as a battery backup during power failures but it can be just left plugged into the wall all the time too
