And im not sure what i may have done but when i first installed the deadbolt i could not lock it from the inside unless the key was in it and if i locked it with the key i wasnt able to remove the key unless it was unlocked

I took it back off and started over and now it works perfectly so im not at all sure what happened the first time

I did put it on upside down and couldnt figure why the lock wouldnt go in but figured it out and flipped it
